  I've been here several times I'm a local. The pub is ok the food is above average and the beer selection is fair. The ambiance of the pub is towards trying to be a bit funky. They have a few maintenance issues that seem to eluded them. They have live music at times - blues/folk, in my opinion not drawing enough from local talent. The pub fits all age groups and i believe everyone is 420 friendly - if that helps.

  I was impressed with this amazing pub's atmosphere and size considering its' out of the way location just off the Island Highway in Cumberland. We had a local pale ale and plate of plate of fries, which were dusted lightly with Parmesan cheese and black pepper. They were delicious. The pub also hosts live musical gatherings in its' elevated stage area with plenty of standing room for larger bands.

  Great burger, too bad the service is bad at times... Hit and miss and when they are on it its great. 2 of the last 3 visits have been bad experiences which prompted for an edit of my previous 5/5 to the current 2/5.

  I'm miss the old Wave, before the town got popular. Who knew Cumberland would be the cultural center of the Comox Valley. But that be said, pub still has some old charm left. Can get very busy Fri Sat night depending on band. I've had no problem with the food.
